아래 내용은 The tribune에 실린 9월 8일자 기사입니다. 캐나다는 한 때 하얀금이라 불리며 큰 수익을 가져다준 석면의 최대 생산국이었으나, 2018년부터 제조 및 판매 금지를 하였음. 석면사용 금지 이전에 지어진 가정집 수는 9백2십만 채임. 1876년 퀘벡주 테트포드에서 백석면이 처음 발견되었고 2년 후 첫 석면광산으로 채굴이 되었음. 석면은 캐나다의 사업장에서 사망원인 첫번째임. 원문과 자료는 아래 링크를 클릭하시기 바랍니다.
