	The Lancet slams Canadian 'hypocrisy' on asbestos

Canadian Medical Association(CMA)과 영향력있는 영국 의학 저널인 Lancet이 캐나다 퀘벡의 석면 광산 문제에 대해 반대하는 캠페인에 동참하기로 밝혔습니다. CMA 의장인 Dr. Jeff Tumbull은 퀘백시가 석면 광산 컨소시엄에게 보증한 $58 million에 대한 대출 보증을 철회할 것을 요구하였습니다. 또한 아직 석면 사용에 대한 안전한 규제가 마련되어 있지 않은 국가로 석면을 수출하는 것을 비판하였습니다.
