백석면 협회에서 유투브와 페이스북에 올린 백석면 홍보 동영상입니다.

영어로 제작되어 있으며 유튜브상에서 '캡션보기'를 이용하면 영어자막(완벽하지 않음)을 볼 수도 있습니다.

러시아의 백석면 생산지역을 방문하여,

백석면은 안전하다, 백석면 산업으로 도시경제가 유지되는데 폐쇄시키라는 여론은 말도 안된다 등등 입니다.

백석면 협회는 4월 16일을 "백석면 보호의 날"로 지정하여 백석면의 사용은 안전하다며 지지하였습니다.

이는 4월 28일부터 5월 10일, 스위스 제네바에서 열리는 로테르담 컨벤션에 대비하는 사전작업이라 볼 수 있습니다. 백석면 협회는 로테르담 컨벤션에서 지정하는 유해물질 리스트에 백석면이 추가되는 것을 반대하고 있습니다.

아래 동영상은 "참고만" 하시기 바랍니다. WHO에서는 모든 형태의 석면은 인체에 유해하다고 명시하고 있습니다. 참고로 러시아는 현재 백석면 수출량 세계 1위 국가입니다.
