석면 관련 국제 동향입니다.

-. Brazil
The Brazilian Association of the Asbestos-Exposed 가 공동후원하는 국제 세미나, “Asbestos and its harmful affects, a socio-judicial approach" 가 지난 8월 30일부터 8월 31일까지 브라질에서 개최되었으며, 2주간의 석면관련 이벤트 기간이 있었다는 소식입니다.


-. Belgium
The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)에서 9월 14일 ILO와 관련된 내용을 언론보도 하였습니다. ILO(The International Labor Organization)에서 9월 초 석면사용을 주장하는 산업로비스트들은 ILO의 지원을 요청해서는 안된다는 입장을 공식적으로 밝혔다고 합니다. 석면 관련 기업들이 Chrysotile 생산과 판매 확대를 꿰하는 시점에서 나온 발언이라 더욱 주목받고 있습니다.
