태국이 석면 반대 입장을 밝혔습니다. 이로서 태국은 전세계에서 57번째 석면반대국가로 등록되게 되었습니다.
현재 법적으로 사용이 허용된 것은 chrysotile뿐이지만, 브레이크 등 다른 종류의 석면이 함유된 물질이 사용되고 있습니다. 이에 대한 주의를 기울이기 위해 석면 함유 물질에 경고 문구를 부착하는 등 3개 소비자 보호 단체에서 MOU를 맺고 석면반대활동에 동참할 예정이라고 합니다.
